Alsalah

I am going to talk about something I do on a daily base, five times everyday and sometimes even more. When I have a full day, or a really busy schedule, or even a regular day, I go do this thing and it helps me relieve all the pressure on me and helps me focus more on what I’m doing or what I want to do. It is called “Alsalaah” or Prayer to God. The comfort I get while I’m doing it and after I finish it could not be written in simple words or even explained by letters and numbers, but I will try to do my best.

I like to do it because, first, it is mandatory for me to do it five times a day, but then I have the option of not doing more but, I always do more because of the feelings, comfort, and the awards that I get for doing it. When I pray, I know I’m praying to someone that sees me and hears me, and that someone is the creator of me and the whole Mankind and Universe, because the Universe did not created itself, so that feeling of being a slave to Allah –God- and obey his orders by praying in specific times, bow down to him, and putting my head on the ground to whom created me is exactly what I need to finish this beautiful journey that’s called “Life”.

I feel there is a bigger purpose of life besides just living for fun or to do a specific job or even long term goals. I feel there is a purpose why we are people and why we are here, doing what we are doing, right this moment. My purpose is “Alsalah” and worshiping Allah the way he should be worshiped. And in the same time don’t forget my share from life.

The Freedom of Choice

Choices we make have influence in our lives. If life had no choices, the world we live in would have not existed. According to the Muslim, Christian, and Jewish books, Adam's apple is the reason why earth exists. During our life we face a huge amount of decisions we have to make, whether we think it's the right choice, or the wrong one to others point of view, everyone has the right to make their own decisions.

An interesting story in the Holly Quran about Adam and his choice to pick the apple. Although God ordered Adam not to eat from the tree, the devil tempted Adam to eat the apple. Therefore, Adam made up his mind and ate the apple. Adam had two options, but he chose to disobey God which resulted to punish Adam and send him down to Planet Earth. This shows that everyone has the freedom to make decisions, knowing to expect the consequences afterwards.

Choices were not made to be always right. However, if we were put in the same situation again, we would learn from our mistakes and try to fix the wrong decision we made. We don't know if Adam was put in the same situation again would choose not to eat the apple. Moreover, we don't know if choosing the apple was a mistake or not. However, what if Adam did not pick the apple? Would the world exist? We create the world we live in by our choices. According to the Quran, life is based on choices. Either going to heaven or hell, is based on what people choose, obeying God equals heaven, and disobeying equals hell.

To sum up, choices were not made to be always right. Therefore we learn from our mistakes and think twice before making a decision. What we choose is always up to us. We always expect good or bad consequences afterwards. The freedom of choice is the basis of our world.

Progress

Progress is developing in a positive way .It’s the act of moving forward . However, I agree that progress is always good ! You would ask why its good ? Does it has negative side ? Is their any pollution effects?

First, progress is good because it leads you forward . It improves things from good to great . However, progress is the lead point to start your life with .if you did you will improve every thing from good to better as I said before. In school, work, relations, and every thing ells.

Second, in my point of view I think there are no negative sides in progress. Mentally what can be negative in moving forward. On the other hand, when I asked my friend Omar he said that yes there are some negative sides. It some times can be harmful in many ways. For example, some progress in the medical field has been extremely harmful like abortion, exchanging babies and changing their eye color or hair color ect.

Last but not least, I have to disagree with this point because this can not only affect peoples life but even animals, air that human beings breath and the ozone . Pollution can damage a lot of things and progress is not a very good idea to deal with it.

In conclusion, in general progress is a good thing .indeed there are some negative sides. On the other hand, nothing is perfect. So when you improve your self or something make sure that it does not harm any one else or the environment .

Education in a class room

There are many important things in life. But the most important is education. Wither you studied or not it will decide your future. However, in my point of view I think that studying in a class room with other students is much better than studying out side and alone. It gain you a better education by understanding the material, you will be in the mood of a studying environment and making new friends.

First, while attending classes in a class room that contain teachers and students. you will have the opportunity to understand the material and ask as many questions as you like. However, you can also benefit from other students questions .

Second, some students think that its better studying at home. On the other hand, I think it’s a very bad idea unless if you are in a situation that cant let you go to a class room. Like working or if its too far from you and you cant move. Moreover, when studying in a class room you will be in the perfect environment to study and understand the material.

Third, one of the ways that you can make new friends is going to school. As my self my for best friend are my old friends from high school. Moreover, friends can help you if you need any help in studying or homework’s. its very nice to know that you have someone to help you when ever you want.

Finally, receiving education in a class room is better than out side or home school 100 %. However, if your planning to study home, my advice is don’t because studying in a class room is much better.

Cafe Terrace on the Place du Forum, Arles, at Night, The

Vincent is one of the best artists in the world. He has made millions of paintings. However, one of his best paintings that I liked is (Cafe Terrace on the place du Fourm). I liked it for many reasons. First, the colors are so attractive. It makes you look at it like you have never seen colors before. Second, the dark blue sky and the shining stars makes you feel relaxed and free. Like there is nothing to worry about in the whole world. Most people think that night time is lonely. On the other hand, when Vincent draw this painting he knew that night time is not about loneliness and fear, but it's about love, happiness and cheer. Third, the fact that he drew people gathering and having good times is a sign that he looked for happiness. Moreover, he made the lighting in a way that makes you feel you want to be in the painting not looking at it. In conclusion, maybe other people will see this painting differently. They can see it sad or scary. But not me I see it brings pleasure and bliss.

Fashion On Campus

Fashion on campus is like Fashion around the world. Many different styles, different clothes, shoes and bags.

First, clothes comes in colors. black, white, gray and blue. Are the top 4 in campus. Then comes the yellow and other colors.. However, I totally agree with the top 4 ..

Second, in campus students walk alot. So for the sake of their feet, they should wear something comfortable. But it doesn't mean it should be something ugly !!!
Their are lots of stylish flats. Unfortunately unlike what I see in campus. Well not all of them are that bad. but I would say 50% are good and the other 50 i don't wanna talk about them..

Third, bags are the whole thing. If you got a fine one your off to go..

Last but not least, fashion is a personality. It refers back to the person, the way he think and live..

MY PERSONALITY

I am a 20 years old girl who lives with her Mother. However, I don't think living with my mother kept me away from my Father. So I guess my personality is a mixture of both.
However, no body is perfect. But though people always tells me that I am a good person. I have a huge welcoming heart. Which sometimes gets me in alot of trouble. but its worth it seeing people smile, so I don't mind it. However, the second thing is that I am very loyal with my friends and my family members. Always there for them, NO MATTER WHAT!!
Last but not least, I am a social person. I like to meet and know new people every day. I am a talkative person. And I like to hear what people say or talk about.
